Corporate Finance & Private Equity Advisory
Mukundi Investments Capital is a corporate finance and private-equity advisory firm focused on African markets. We structure and facilitate United States into Africa capital flows through consortium structures.
Who we are
Mukundi Investments Capital advises principals, funds, and institutions on mergers and acquisitions, private-equity investment, and capital formation across African markets. Our focus is the movement of institutional capital from the United States into Africa, arranged and governed through consortium structures that align co-investors around a single, disciplined transaction.
Africa is not a single market. We calibrate to the specific jurisdiction, sector, and counterparty on every mandate, and we treat risk identification as the first act of value creation rather than an afterthought. Every structure, valuation, and assumption is stress-tested before it reaches a decision.
Our work sits at the intersection of two capital pools that have historically struggled to meet: long-horizon American institutional capital and the mature, institutionally governed companies that two decades of development finance helped build across the continent.
Our thesis
Africa's binding constraint is no longer the quality of its companies. It is the infrastructure through which ownership can change hands.

Founder
Simbai Chizengeni is the founder of Mukundi Investments Capital, a corporate finance and private-equity advisory firm focused on African markets. His work concentrates on connecting American institutional capital with mature, institutionally governed African companies through disciplined, consortium-based transactions.
He is a doctoral candidate in Public Policy, with a concentration in Economic Policy, at Liberty University's Helms School of Government, where his research examines capital markets and the economic policy that shapes investment on the continent. He writes and speaks on the future of African capital markets and the case for deeper commercial partnership between African and American institutions.
Whether you are raising capital, seeking an exit, or building a consortium for investment into Africa, we would welcome a conversation.
